DIY Clock

Time is something we can’t change. We are unable to speed it up, slow it down or put it on pause. But there is one thing we can change… the clock itself! Of course! You can make your very own DIY clock into any shape you want. You can use old, unused or recycled wood to shape it into something different. It’s the perfect DIY project for any time of year (pun intended!). For instance, you can make a “mountain” shaped clock for winter or a “sun” shaped clock for summer.

Some of the materials listed above can come from recycled items. Do you know anyone that might have extra plywood lying around their home? What about taking the clock movement kit from an older clock and reusing it in your DIY clock? It’s always good to ask friends and family if they have materials or parts you can use for any DIY project. Not only are you lessening your carbon footprint but you’re spreading awareness to others too. Thinking about what items you can upcycle or recycle can make any DIY process more meaningful. Visit www.sayyes.com for detailed instructions to make your DIY clock from recycled wood.
Have fun!
